Sweet Corn Queen Contests

There are a few traditions that are central to the annual East Prairie Sweet Corn Festival: lots of amazing sweet corn, a patriotic Independence Day weekend parade and -- since 1975 -- the selection of our Sweet Corn Queen and court.
Today, the Sweet Corn Queen continues to represent East Prairie throughout her reign. We've also added our Jr. Miss and children's contests to the fun. |

Doors will open at 10:45 a.m. admission fee at the door is $5.00 each (contestants & children under 2 are free)

Open To: Girls ages 13-15 and 16-18 from all communities
ATTIRE: Formal Wear Only
ENTRY FEES:
* Beauty Fee (required): $30.00
* Optional Special Events: $10 per set
NOTE: Optional Special Events MUST BE entered by the entry deadline.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
You can email your application once you have Paypal or Venmo your application. If no payment is received within 24 hours after application is email, you will not be able to compete. If you are local to East Prairie, you may drop off your application at the East Prairie Chamber of Commerce with your fee. There is also a drop box inside the building in the EP Chamber door for after hours.
No refunds or credits to future pageants will be given.

BEAUTY AWARDS:
In each age division a Queen and two Alternates will be crowned. Queens will receive a trophy, sash,
and beautiful tiara; Alternates will receive a beautiful trophy and sash.
OPTIONAL SPECIAL EVENTS:

GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Please only ONE person in the back hallway with each contestant.
2. Sorry, scores and comment sheets are not available.
3. These contests are open to everyone regardless of wins from a previous year.
4. Winners/ Alternates are invited to take part in the annual EP Fourth of July Parade. (Held July 4 th at 10am) All, winners are responsible for their own ride and signage).
No changes or additions to entries the day of the contest.

- Beauty entry is required of each contestant. Cost is $30.00.
- Contestants will model on stage using any modeling pattern they select. No certain pattern of
- modeling is required.
- All contestants will be asked a question while on stage. Questions will be available in the back hallway when contestants arrive at the pageant.
- Best Personality.....Contestants judged on personality on stage. NO QUESTIONS.
- Best Dressed.....Contestants judged on attire.
- Most Beautiful.....Contestants judged on appearance and projection.
- Best Model.....Contestants judged on stage presence and modeling.
- Prettiest Eyes.....Contestants judged on eye contact.
- Prettiest Hair.....Contestants judged on style of hair in relationship to age and outfit.
- Prettiest Smile.....Contestants judged on smile while modeling.
- Interview…..Based on response to question.
