Sponsored by the East Prairie Chamber of Commerce
So, think you are up to the challenge? This fun (and sometimes wonderfully messy) event is where we find out the true corn lovers in the bunch as our champion eaters take on a big stack of oh-so-tasty sweet corn!  To enter: show up at the Gazebo at 7:45 p.m. Friday night.

Post-Tour de Corn Spaghetti Dinner   |   Saturday, June 24  |  Noon  |  Church of God Family Life Center
Wrap up your Tour de Corn ride with a tasty meal of meat or veggie spaghetti from the wonderful people of the East Prairie Church of God.  Go ahead...you've earned it!

East Prairie Jr. High & High School Cheerleaders |   Friday, June 23  |  starting at 7 p.m.  |  On Main Street in front of East Prairie Flower Shop/Kirby's Insurance 
Gimme a "C-O-R-N!"  Get spirited with a performance by the award-winning East Prairie Cheer teams.  The Jr. High squad kicks things off at 7 p.m. followed by the High School team at 7:10 p.m.

You'll be amazed as you see the EP-based Southeast Area Twirlers perform to a variety of songs.  Be sure to stay for the impressive fire baton demonstration by this renowned team.

Sweet Corn Festival grounds  Booth #58-59
Get hands-on learning with all the beauty and wonder of Missouri's vast natural resources.  Missouri Department of Conservation staff will be on-site with educational opportunities for young and old alike, including their crowd-favorite demonstration on how to clean and cook Asian carp.

We're bringing together a host of local and area crafts- and trades-people with charming homemade products.  Our 2016 vendors will offer clothing, home goods, artisanal food items and other unique products to help make your Sweet Corn Festival experience complete!

Antique Car & Bike Show  |  Saturday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (presentation of awards at 1:15 p.m.)   | Downtown on Main Street
Come downtown to see (and sometimes even touch!) a host of old classic cars and beautifully restored favorites!  Take some time to talk with the owners and stick around for the awards ceremony at 1 p.m.!

Good Ol' Sweet Corn Fun

Pig Races + Camel & Pony Rides  |  Friday night & Saturday  |  Sweet Corn Festival grounds 
Nothing says down-home fun like a visit from Pork Chop Downs and the rest of the Show-Me Swine gang.  These pigs will have you in stitches as they take each other on in a series of races.  And be sure to check out the camels and ponies for a great memory and photo op for the kiddos!

Get one of your best buddies and take on the town in this fun team event.  You'll stomp down the road as a team, with oversized corn (ok, plywood corn cut-outs) strapped to your feet!  Do you have the stamina and teamwork to take the prize?  All ages welcome!

Corn Tossing Contest  |  Saturday, 10:45 a.m.  |  Sweet Corn Festival Grounds
Sure, anyone can throw a ball...it takes someone special to cover some distance with corn!  Get a friend for this fun 2-person activity and see exactly how far you can make it down the street!  We will butter up your hands, so be sure to dress appropriately!   Be at the Gazebo by 10:45 a..m. if you want to take on the challenge.

Fireworks Displays

After a great night of fun at the Main Street Party, watch the sky for a fun round of fireworks.  The perfect ending to a great day...and an awesome send off for that pre-Tour de Corn sleep!

Elm Street Baptist Tailgate Party & Fireworks Extravaganza   |  Saturday, July 2   | Tailgate starts (TBD); fireworks to follow at dusk
Sponsored by Elm Street Baptist Church
It has become an EP favorite: the Elm Street Baptist annual tailgate party.  This event is free to everyone and includes hamburgers, hot dogs and chips.  Plus some amazing music as well.  Stay tuned for more details on this community-wide event followed by an amazing fireworks display visible for miles around!
